I have more than ten years' experience in tutoring across a range of subjects, but primarily English.
My classes in the UK are a mix of pupils, who come to my home, and those whom I tutor online, but I am now receiving requests for online tutoring from an increasing number of pupils from across the world.
I have also tutored a wide range of ages: from teaching French to children aged between 3 and 11; to transfer test tuition for 10 and 11 year olds; to teaching English, French and History to UK GCSE level; to helping adults to either learn English for business or pleasure, or to improve their oral skills in the language.
My teaching - which is available online to one person or up to a group of three - features both educational and 'fun' activities, and my classes are designed to provide engaging lessons, which are tailored to the individual's own level so that they can gain confidence from the outset.
Lessons - which last one hour - feature a combination of phonics, reading and, for younger children, picture dictionaries and flash cards.
Lessons comprise either assistance with subjects, in which students are struggling, or exam preparation in English, French and History up to and including UK GCSE level.
The nature of these lessons depends very much on what an individual wishes to learn.
Some of my pupils, for example, require assistance with the English language element of their job, and so we work together on email content or other forms of correspondence. Others will require help with the compilation of reports or dossiers.
Other adults may simply wish to improve their English language skills and so I use a combination of resources, such as magazine articles, newspaper articles and website content.
Lessons for all levels - and in all subjects - are totally bespoke and tailored to the individual.
There is no 'one size fits all' at English-Writer.com - your lesson is exactly that - your own lesson, designed specifically for you.
